AISI 4140 is Chrome Moly High Tensile Steel, according to the standard of ASTM A29 / A29M.

AISI 4140 bearing ring forgings offer good balance on stength, toughness and wear resistance and etc.

Our raw material for AISI 4140 ring forgings require EAF+LF+VD melting methods.                                                                                                        

With the heat treatment for AISI 410 ring forgings, normally we using normalized+Quenched+Tempered or Quenched and Tempered to meet the technical  requirements of customers.

Mechanical Properties of AISI 4140 after Heat treatment:

Tensile Strength:    130 KSI Min  (896 N/mm²)

Yield Strength:        110 KSI Min  (758 N/mm²)

Elongation:               13%

Red of Area:              30%

There are three miils: ø 1600mm, ø 3000mm, ø 5000mm ring roller mills, forging workshops.

We supply AISI 4140 Forged Rings / Forgings pre-turned Ring Parts as per certificate EN10204-3.1.

Ultransonica Testing will be as per standard as ASTM A388 or EN10228-3,  100% UT will be done for AISI  4140 Bearing Ring Forgings.
