42CrMo4 Welded Gears for Punch Presses
AISI 1045 C45 Welded Gears for Stamping Presses
Over 4 years, we expanding our products to the welded gears which are for punch press and stamping presses.
Gear Ring (Rim) / Outer Rings of Welded Gears:
From our seamless hot rolled forging rings, commonly using steel grade of medium carbon steel or low-alloy high-strength steel: AISI 1045 / 45#, 42CrMo, or 35CrMo, which offers excellent hardenability and wear resistance. The gear teeth will be cut and surface-hardened after welding.
Our ring rolling mills will produce the gear rings / gear rims.
Web Plate (Disc/Spoke):
Cut parts from thicker steel sheets, and made of high quality of carbon structural steel plates such as Q355B, A3.
It will connect the hub and the gear rings, and is often reinforced with cutouts, holes, or stiffeners.
We purchase suitable steel sheets for cut into our needed plates.
Hub:
Mostly made of AISI 1045 / 45# steel forgings or thick-walled tubes. The interior is machined with keyways or tapered sleeves to connect with the crankshaft, eccentric shaft, or drive shaft.
Our factory's advantages:
Forging gear rings by our Ring Rolling and Hot Forging Workshops
Welding Processes be done by our own workshops in one plant.
Our own Heat Treatment Workshops to do annealing on welded gears and gurantee the quality of welding performances.
Gear Cutting & Hardening:
After heat treatment and finish-turning, the teeth are processed via hobbing or shaping. Finally, the tooth surfaces undergo high-frequency induction hardening or carburizing and quenching to achieve a surface hardness usually exceeding HRC 45–55.
